    yup...i'll be out there.

i originally signed up for solo, geary but i switched to solo ss. i think i will be comfortable running either 32x20 or 32x21 on my 29er. i did the soul ride 60 on my ss on oct 22 and that took me about 7:30 on the rigid single steed, including 5 flat tires.

also, i will be doing the novice loops (i wasn't able to pre-ride the course, and my wife is gonna kick my @ss if i bring home one for bloody scrape). no warrior trail for me. i am sloppy as it is on techy stuff and after a few laps and couple of thousand ft of climbing i am gonna get REALLY sloppy ;)

who else is gonna be out there??? what are you going to be riding???

i will be out there on a rigid desalvo 29er ss, say hi!!!

Warrior Trail is really fun......not that technical....too each his own.

I will be out there solo......on my Heckler, supporting my friends at Switchback.

It will be a fun event. We signed up as a 2 man team. The name of our team is "First Place".

That was the only way I could have my name and first place mentionned together in a race. :D

And, of course I will ride my 35lb Coiler.

Looking forward to see you there

I'm not dogging the event at all, was just "playing" off of Matt's post how it was almost word for word like yours...

It was so much fun. I wanto to get more into this kind of racing. I  did eight
laps. Which a little under forty miles and nine-thousand ft. of climbing. I got first and last in my category. I did well and exceeded my goal. I'm actually thinking about writing an article on it.
Good job to everyone else who raced and thanks to everyone who helped out.

I agree. Endurance racing is so much more fun that the typical 1-2 hour XC race.

The race itself went well. No real problems for the Switchback crew. It was really smooth sailing. I was glad to be a part of it on both ends...from building the trails and race preperation/punch cards to acutally getting to race it.

Props to my friends at Switchback for a great event.

Yeah......and best of all..............it was only 10 minutes from my front door. I am so glad that there will be more events out there next year. Gotta love the local racing.
