1. is there an easy way to report spammers to make it easy for the moderators to delete accounts? 2. can we prevent new members from posting messages for a week after they join? should get rid of the spammers.

Yeah that wouldn't be good. Similar to our Strava conspiracy. One troll comes in and starts deleting posts or segments or whatever....
But I like Spam, Deviled Spam when you're backpacking is a most excellent treat. I cannot eat normal spam unless it is sliced thin and fried. Do you think they deep fry spam in the south? "Chicken fried Spam", you know you are in the south when you see "chicken fried" as a cooking style. You can probably get that in Paris, Paris Tejas
As soon as I could log on, I saw a PM as well as several reported posts in the "Mods, Admins, and site volunteers" forum. I deleted all the threads and banned the user(hellper8) as soon as I could get to it. Dino nd I have the ability to delete all the threads started by a user in one "fell swoop". Commenting on these threads doesn't help cause I do not want to banned the other users who commented. I had to find one where no one commented so it would give me the option to delete the user. Just report it and it'll get done. You also have to remember that Dino and I aren't on here 24/7. I work 50 hrs a week plus drive time(South OC to LAX and back). I work graves so I sleep during the day. Noon time to most is my midnight.
