    I had a great weekend! Thanks to everyone for the encouragement and the fun! D. Maxwell... is my new mentor! Thanks so much for guiding me around this weekend. I was basically a chicken with my head cut off. Maxwell showed me the Super D course. Where and when it actually started. If it weren't for him I would still be out there looking for the start. :lol: thanks! He also guided me around for the DH too.

    I sorta enjoyed the Super D (at the time.) It really ripped my heart out. The climbs (only two of them) got my heart rate off the charts instantly. The descents were fast and furious. Now that I look back I really enjoyed the race. :?: 8-[

    The DH was great. I really had a fun time watching everyone-the youngsters and their way too low pants (even with belts on!) to the ol' masters advising everyone of how to prepare and why I should be riding on their bike instead of mine (Roger!) :wave:

    There was a section on the DH course where several riders fell. Thanks to Dino and Tumbleweed for helping the fallen.

    I can't wait to see some photos. My number was 725P.

    I've gotta agree with you on Maxwell. He was lined up in front of me for the Super D and he seemed to be everywhere helping this guy with water, that guy with a tube. I never saw him without a smile on his face. he passed me like I was standing still on the XC race and even winded he had encouraging words for me. It was cool and made a nervous first timer very comfortable and welcome. Huge props to you Maxwel. Very cool!
