    What I heard (and please take it as rumor only as it was second hand) is that he crashed hard, had trouble breathing and bruising that led him to believe that he may have cracked some ribs. Last I heard he had not gone to the hospital yet, but he did drive himself home :eek:.

    I'm glad you finally went to the doc Chuck. You were making me worry.

    Let us know what the doc says man, and heal quick.

    He did have quite the OTB landing with his back on a tall sharp rock at the bottom of the lower rock garden, They did haul him out in the Rhino and was diagnosed by the EMT on hand at the track with cracked ribs. We loaded his stuff up but he would have nothing to do with tmac (bag O sand) or myself driving him anywhere... The last I heard is the same as above, he was resting at home having not gone for Xrays around dinner time...

    Just got off the phone with Chuck and he is headed to the hospital for a photo shoot

    I talked to him when I got home from the races and he was still in a lot of pain. Glad to hear that he is actually heading to the hospital for some pics.

    Chuck guy wears chest armor underneath his chest armor (literally, really he does), I'm amazed to hear he broke anything at all. It must have been a really nasty fall.

    Chuck - hope you're feeling a little better at this point, or at least drugged up so you don't feel it too bad! Cracked ribs take a while, i'm sure you know - just don't laugh for 6 weeks or so and you'll be good...
