Good to hear. The check marks are the ones on the homepage.

The speed seems OK, but for some reason I can't access the "create new discussion in" or "calendar actions" from the home page :?:

    Internet explorer 8 , v8.0.6001.182170c

But, I was having no problems before the change. I can still do the same things, I just need to take the long route to get there, not from the front page.

Yeah, after Adam's post I would also like to say I greatly appreciate the work you (and the mods) put into the site! And I wasn't trying to be the complainer. Thanks again, George.

Oh no worries at all. I truly (honestly) appreciate the input and constructive criticism. I want everybody to have an enjoyable experience here and that's not possible unless I get input.

Adam, as soon as I get some time I'll look into the check issue.

Took it off to try and speed the site up. That section adds some database calls to the page.

I'd like to see that back.

Latency is back but in a huge way, even making IE give up. The problem is not just a few database calls in fact I saw IE waiting for ".....gif" at one point.

Feels decently quick for me right now. Was it at the time you posted (6.30ish)? I'll keep an eye on it and try out IE at work.

It was around 6:45am to 7:00 am for me here at work and the rest of my network was going fast, just STR. Refreshed after a min or two and it was working great after that.
