    My CC Machine..

I was going to do the CC on my hard tail but decided the last 5 miles down Trabucco rd. are going to be painful. X-Fusion suspended Santa Cruz Blur XC is my choice. :bang:

Not much difference between race trim and everyday trim. Maybe just the fact that I took the time to clean it is different?

I'll look into a race wheelset for next year :)

Are you serious? I would guess that the 29er is built too heavy then - or..the Enduro is built super light??

I'm guessing it's a little both. With a slight edge to the Enduro being suppalite. Race Xlite 29er wheels are probably 1800-1900gm but the Specialized Roval 26er wheels are 1550gm. That's 1/2 lb. right there.

29 inches of rigid 32:18 SS fun...

No pic yet of the bike with the new Velocity wheelset, though. Makes a world of difference!

Yeah.... The Enduro sit's right at 28.5lbs and the Voodoo is at 27.75lbs. Not a tremendous difference. I think it was a serious matter of budget in the two builds.#-o The S-works Enduro SL = $7k, and Voodoo Zaka 29'er cost me about $3.4k.

I've got two of each in my pack, so I should be good either way! :bang:

    Here's mine...

Jamis Komodo HT, adjustable travel 120/100mm, currently undergoing conversion to tubeless because I've flatted on Motorway the last 2 times I've descended it. Climbs like nobody's business and descends way better than I would have ever thought.

CC machine - minus the snow of course!

    And here's jbh65's CC rig...

the only thing I changed just for the CC was the cassette. I switched my 11-32 for a 11-34. So many hours of climbing, I'll take any advantage I can give myself.

    blue is the new purple

I mean, you would have been fast with the plebeian xtr wheels...with those cobalts, you'll be done and munching on charbroiled chicken by the time us mouth breathing singlespeeders are hitting the bottom of holy jim. I heard crank brothers 'incredible service' includes a clone to pedal for you if their wheels don't let you cut your vq time from the previous year in half...:?:

I'll have to take a picture of my bike later. The new wheels with the rigid fork make it look damn nice. Fast too...
