Super-stoked the "I've Posted Here / Classified / Event" sections have returned to the "Homepage"

-Click the Forum tab to gain access to the "Calendar" section (as well as a few other features)

-Doublewide got his Chatbox back!

Thank you Dino, Gene and everyone else behind the scenes helping out. Dino, the first soda at Hero's is on me this Sunday.

 

You all are a bunch of junkies that when you can get your STR fix start Jonesing, jump to conclusions and threaten to leave. In the past when asked to contribute by getting a doohickey many did not participate then complain about the site. George has a full time job coding and I am sure does not want to stay up all night and code more. I know his week Jorge has been in San Diego on work and has worked on the site when he has time. If we paid to be on this site I would understand the negative posts.

I can't say all of them, but many of the negative comments weren't unreasonably looking for an immediate solution/fix. I think some just were in awe that there wasn't a response one way or the other. To me that's not really negative, as much as a positive testament to how much some people enjoy the site. I think a more negative situation would be if no one cared and shared no passion for it either way..

This is akin to building airplanes as a hobby, and to have someone break in to the hangar and smash up your beautiful Rattan pusher kit plane that you just finished building. I've had to help recover from an attack like this in order to save a good sized company...I can well imagine the angst felt when you have to do this and it's only your hobby.

Anyway, glad I didn't rage quit and slink back to MyBikeSite.com. (Just kidding...I still have a soft spot in my heart for MBS.)
