Last year I saw this ride about two months after the event and I told myself that I would do it this year. It lands on the same day as the Warrior's Society race, so I don't know which one I will do. If people are interested I think I rather do this event.

i'm planning on doing it also. we should plan to get together on this one. i've done it many times before. you'll love it, it's scenic, fun and memorable.

do you guys plan to haul a$$ or just cruise it? i'll do whatever, it's your call.

I'm not riding this ride anymore. Kippie called me out on who is faster last weekend, so I am going to ride in the Warrior's race.

i did this with epic last year, it was a blast. we pretty much hauled butt, the coolest part is when you draft the roadies and they keep moving over to brake the draft.if you do the ride put on slicks its less drag riding with them.yur able to keep a draft with the roadies and it upsets them, being on an mtb.

It does sound like fun. But the important questions I have are 1) How much candy to take? 2) Are there really taco stands along the way where you can stop?

you can take as much as you want , even put a basket in front if you really want to carry that much candy, j/k. people just fill their pockets with candies and throw them out along the way and othersd go all out with a ton of candy.

as far as food goes, you pass thru some of the town on the coast and yes there are plenty of taco places, and even lobster(@ Purto Nuevo)!! food and drinks are not an issue along the way. at the end of the ride: there is tons of food to choose from. tacos(shrimp, fish & carene asada), bacon-wrapped hotdogs, corn, tamales, and all sorts of other things, plus all kinds of beer of that's what you're into.

Dirttorpeedo, Hecandsonbikers & myself rode it last year, and we had an excellent time out there!! loads of fun!!!

I vaguelly recall seeing somebody there. I hauled ass this last time and regretted it. It went by way to fast and I was at the finish line 2.5 hours. If I do it again I plan on taking my time. Armando where are you going to stay? I was thinking of staying in Ensenada at a friends place and getting a ride from there in the morning to Rosarito.

I was actually planing on just making it a day trip, drive up there early (we usually leave at 5am) then coming back that same night. if my parents go, they usually shuttle us back. if they don't go, we take the shuttles back to Rosarito. staying over would be nice, but i won't be able to this time around.
