Has anyone riden this to Switzers lately? Is it ridable down to JPL?

Please post a ride report/ update after your session. I've been wanting to hit that trail again for the last few years, but didn't know what type of shape it is in... THANKS!

The Gabrielino from Redbox to Switzers is mostly rideable with some sections that are quite different than before. I rode it a few months back. Lots of poodle dog bush along the way. In fact there was so much, that unless you completely do not care about getting whacked in the face by it, the going is pretty slow.

The Gab from Switzers to JPL is closed.

Rode Red Box to Switzer last week. The trail itself is a lot more rugged and chunky than it used to be. I actually enjoyed it more than before. One HUGE problem was the Poodle Dog Bush. It's literally everywhere and unavoidable. That part will keep me away for a bit longer. Don't bother going beyond Switzer towards JPL. There is no longer a trail so unless you're willing to make your own path and bush whack, I'd avoid it.

Yeah, didn't they just do a rescue last month for some guys that tried to ride it? Bad stuff out there now.
