Good info, but personally I have seen several riders who did not reflect good things back on the sho air image they were wearing, but like everything else there's always a few bad apples.

Looks like the earlier prediction of 71 degree temps has headed upwards. According to today's 5-Day through weather.com we will be looking at Sunny and a high of 78. The huck out of Caspers & up/over from O'Neil to El Toro will be hot, but this is perfect after-ride weather.

RSM and Lake forest are going to be 71. Where do you see 78?

Not to be a bearer of bad news, but a couple of weeks ago when we did a training ride through Caspers, weather.com had RSM at a high of 83, but in the Caspers canyon, the Garmin GPS read 97 which tells me that the canyon area is about 15 degrees hotter.

That said, when we got back to the parking lot, it didn't feel any cooler than it did in the canyon, so maybe the Garmin was inflating the temperatures, but there were multiple riders whose Garmins all read 97.

Tip: Start drinking lots of water NOW.

I think you are looking at the Friday high which is 71.

Wait, so you're saying that just because they purchased a Sho-Air jersey they act a certain way? That's like saying all people wearing Fox gloves are azzholes.

Yes Jose, same rules as always.
Beer at 7:15am, shot at 7:16am and then random acts of lunacy along the way!

I happened to pass through this group ride up on Bell. I got a kick out of the group leader who decided to chase me down to tell me to stay with the group so I wouldn't get lost.

Sounds like they should have just had the group ride faster so I could show them the way.

Oh, I think we need to peer pressure these two slackers into the 50. Tell Sleazer that real wolverines ride 50.

Well I can't search for sho air because the terms are too small, but doing a quick Google search:

Interesting how you know what I read/hear better than I do. That must be a great skill to have. Does Las Vegas ban you from casino's for that?

Nevertheless, I have read several instances on these very forums and some on MTBR (I don't vist as frequently) and heard rumblings from some riders while on the trail.

That makes sense, but there does seem to be a group out there giving them a bad name. I am not big into the sport, but even I have heard grumbling multiple times.
