WOW! what a great time today. Loved seeing all the familiar faces! It was so much fun to get back out there to watch after missing all of last year. There are some really fast guys.

It was fun to leave work and rush over to OTH. It was packed, and I swear there was at least 1000 people there because there was a good amount of spectators too. I also heard the even sold out to riders.... WOW. So much fun here to be had. If you haven't been to one to watch or race in I highly suggest you do, its a good time for everyone.

and yes, I've got some pictures to follow!

Great time seeing everyone out there. Ryan took 3rd in the girls 9-10 and Conner took 19th in the boys 6-8 (he was dead last in every race last year) out of 24.

I had a great time out there this evening. Good to see the STR folks there and cheering for the racers. Dino the man ring the bell. Charlie, Thomas and Tony taking pictures.

I race the Beginner class with the 40-49 group and finished my race right at 50 minutes and in one piece. I did notice couple crashes. One at the lose dirt right after you climb the pavement and the other one at steep down before you make a sharp right at the lake. I hope both riders did not get hurt too bad.

Can't wait to see the pics...

    Cheers,

Good times. I didn't race but had fun cheering on the sidelines and chatting it up with friends. Want to say thanks to Vincent's friend Ryan who helped persuade him to race again. Both kids did well. Vincent 2nd and Ryan 3rd in the 9-11. A few pic's.

Gary Fisher...He's the Man! @ Over The Hump 2013

Today I escaped from work an hour early on a mission to meet an Icon in Mountain Biking Gary Fisher! I woke up extra early to wash my Superfly 100 with hopes of possibly scoring an autograph from the Father of Mountain Biking. Today was definitely a good day! I not only met Gary Fisher in person he was kind enough to autograph my bike and helmet. I really felt proud today to be an owner of bike made by Trek. All around me were bike companies but Trek was the only company with a Legend in their tent.

Thank you Gary Fisher and Trek you really made my day!

Gary also signed my 2013 Fox Rampage Pro Carbon FF Helmet I won. Thanks Gary this will stay in my personal collection!

Now I'm not sure if I should ride the bike or hang it up on my wall forever. At least I have an excuse for another bike now. Hehe.

Factory Effix (clear) number plate background, It's thick and very sticky. Cut a piece to go over GF sig's and ride it. If you park the bike the dog might lick it off!!!

Awesome event tonight, kids race look pretty dam fast. OTH rocked it !

Took 1st place in sport 2, there were 4 of us left by the time we hit turn one. First and second were ahead of me by a good distance. I was able to regain distance on down hill. All the climbing paid off - as laps were being knocked off. I was worried, they are freaking strong =)

    Thanks, M

Nice.... I was 4th and led part of the way up the first climb. Did I even see you after the first lap? I battled with 2nd and third most of the race and dropped back about mid way through lap 3.

I noticed more crashes than usual tonight. I also noticed more lose dirt than in previous years. Hmmm, wonder if the two are related.
