~Official "Great Moments in Film" Thread~

I know some people hate The Pub as many of the topics have little or nothing to do with the aspects of riding. However, I see STR as riding with my eyes and while we are actually riding, topics for discussion vary greatly. One, of course, is film. So, I submit a few of my favorite scenes from a few of my favorite films. More to follow. Enjoy!

DUDE Boondock saints is the SHIZZZ.. I love that movie.

One funny line from the second one.

THe mexican guy asks the gun shop guy, while holding pistols that are gold and have the mexican flag printed on them "Hey do these pistols make me look gay?'

Gunshop guy-- "looks like You might have met one once..."

High Fidelity: Jack Black-in a rare Funny performance-dances his chubby little butt off and pretends to feel up a non-existant woman.

Another great film! The deleted scenes on the DVD has an awesome line: "I've been following my gut for 14 years and I have come to the conclusion that my gut has sh** for brains!" Amen!

I still shout GET SOME! at Kings games when fights break out. :bang:
FMJ has to be one of the most quotable films of all time!

If you have never seen "Apocalypse Now" than you missed one of the greatest scenes in movie history!! :bang: At least for me it is!

The line "Charlie don't surf". Is about 4:08 into the clip.

I loved what Boondock Saints did to the audience. By the end of the thing it's got the viewers more convinced of their moral superiority cheering on a couple mass-murderers. Jokes on you! Very clever & well done.

I had the pleasure of meeting Michael Keaton about 10 years ago when I was a chef in Santa Barbara. I didn't want to say anything he may be sick of hearing so I opted for
"Johnny Dangerously? That you?"
With a genuine laugh, he responded "Wow, yeah. Haven't heard that name in a long time, kid."
The italicized portion was spoken in Johnny Dangerously character. Friggin' rad! However...for about a week I drove every single one of my coworkers crazy with a bombardment of "I'm Batman" at any opportunity that presented itself. Such as calling the front desk from the office to make reservations..."Ok, and your name, sir?"
