I know Dino Brown was riding a Norco A-Line in Mammouth a little while back and liked it..

The Norco A-Line is an amazing bike!!!! Truly amazing!
I was fortunate enough to ride an A-Line on (3) separate occasions!
A tad heavy (45 pounds)... bombproof... exceptional handling.... very balanced.... plush... nimble! What else? :-k Ultra stable.... Some thought it felt a bit cramped (I don't mind undersized top tubes). Felt it may have ADDED to the bikes fun factor! The weight on the '08's have been reduced!

All I can say is I felt VERY comfortable on that bike!
    Could recommend it without reservation!

Also like the NORCO Shore! Wouldn't get one though. Feel there are plenty of "similar" bikes that may be "better."

P.S.- The Iron Horse Sunday will forever be my dream bike!!!

The 2007 Park Edition and Team DH models are a TAD lighter!

I believe the 2008 frames are well-over 1 pound lighter than the 2007's.
The 2008 Team DH weighs in at 40.0 pounds!

I just could not believe that you are calling a 45 LB bike a tad heavy... Sounds like Boat Anchor to me...

Let's build that intense... and go bomb some stuff:bang:
