ok, so i have a conscience... and feel badly for hijacking rcmtb's thread... but i AM serious about needing my OWN sponsorship!!! i have a ton of baking supplies in my cabinet & really don't need to eat all that by myself... so, why not have a bake sale to raise money for the forkUP & rim repair/replacing & other misc bike necessities??? would anyone be up for some nummies delivered to our local trailheads? chocolate chip cookies (nestle semi sweet baked w/all purpose flour...), rice krispie treats, pumpkin bread and whatever else i can whip up from what's left in the pantry.

i was thinking small snack size bags of 1/2 doz for a few bucks ea... larger quantities on request...

thoughts?? come on! help a sista out!!!

You should have done this last week. I could have delivered to Nipomo guy on my way up to the central coast.

BTW, I honked my horn as I passed by today on my way home.

$5 for a flat rate box... plus whatever you decide you want to go in it... i might be able to get a whole batch of rice krispies in the small FRB. 1 13"x 9" pan for $10 + shipping.

where is nipomo??? (too tired to look at googlemaps right now) norcal?

i can ship cookies, but they'll break. you'll end up w/crumbs for ice cream toppings... see above for shipping rate.

nipomo is on the very edge of being considered socal, Zip code is 93444 and it's on the very southern edge of San Luis Obispo County

You honked your horn at me?

You and everyone else around me on the 101.

And Nipomo isn't SoCal. SB isn't either.

Trust me, it's a good thing.

Once you round the corner at Ventura heading north, SoCal is over.

Well, the "SoCal border" is debateable, i think it's CenCal, but other people seem to disagree.... who cares? i want rice krispy treats!

Tink, if you'll deliver to trailheads in Laguna Canyon, let me know. :)

    Umm... no.
    (Not if you're a native NorCal'er)

Anything south of Point Conception is SoCal.

Well, if you -say- post up a thread with a photo or two and a title like "Send Tink to Sedona - Bake Sale", there's just no telling how well it could work. :)
