No email from the site??

I just did a test of email from a classified listing "contact the seller" and it doesn't get thru.
Seems that any of the "automagic" emails are not working.

Is it just be or is this another thing that doesn't work on the site??
I typically don't use the email feature and rely upon PM....

 

i tried both and have had no response since december and if you are not friends it wont let you leave a p.m.

 

I think the classified here has it's own inbox. So click on the "classifieds" link at the top and look at the line that says forum, my ads, etc. There is one that says "message".

 

Thanks, I had not Idea that there was a seperate message function in the classifieds. I just checked it and had 15 messages since November. When I first listed my stuff for sale I was getting regular PMs, but since listing some wheels last week I haven't received any messages until I just checked the message function in the classified section.

 

For me, the "contact the seller" always go into my spam box. And they're often delayed.

 

OK, the delay thing doesn't bother me too much, but I think the emails are getting filtered even before they hit my spam box...
Seems like this might just be another broken item on the site...

 

also for me - i dont get an email when i get a PM - used to work but no longer

 

If you click on the name in the add and send a message its not a PM it's a message the shows up when you check classified sections.

Same as with Lee when I get email it goes to spam. I sent me a test and it has not shown up.

If I don't hear from them I would send a normal Pm through the site not the classified part of the site.

 

Wonder how many BUYERS know about the super secret handshake needed to contact the SELLERS ?

Well the super secret handshake doesn't work all the time either. Some sellers seems to just ignore people.
