I usually turn right on Painter and take that up to Beverly or wherever I parked that day.

The reason I asked is that with the size of the group, there might be problems managing the group going up Painter especially since there is no bike lane on Painter. I'd rather deal with slowing down for a hiker than an impatient motorist coming from behind.

On a different note, don't forget to RSVP HERE.

    See you guys on Saturday!

So just to clarify, When it says park on Beverly or near the trailhead, where exactly is that?
This is my fist time at Turnbull and I don't want to be late. Should I just drive along Beverly and look for the cars, or park at the dirt lot?

Climb the fire road! It's a good leg burner and offers some cool views of the canyon!

I'll be starting with you guys and then probably breaking off after 7th to go ride cow trail and the fireroad back up and THEN I'll go ride A-line. Its my reward for doing that fairly tough fireroad climb back up. :D

There isn't much parking in the dirt near the trailhead, so I think most of us just park really anywhere in the neighborhood below and ride up Beverly to the trailhead. Plus at the end of your ride you don't have to climb alllllllll the way back up to your car.

Depending on the sitchamacatation at that time, I may join you for this.

Also, BTP, Where the hell is your RSVP?

It's at the bottom of cow trail. Instead of continuing down to beverely, you turn right and head back up the fireroad to where you start the decent into cow trail.

I still don't know about this ride. It doesn't help that my stomach has been giving fits all week. Without giving TMI, lets just say one area conducive to riding is a little rare at the moment. Not sure how a seat will feel. Also, don't know about having to do a split break on the trail.

It was when guys go one way and girls another to do nature's business. I don't want to be accused of being the phantom pooper with the way my gut has been acting up.
