    I think y'all will be fine. I was watching the "storm" on radar yesterday afternoon; those strong showers didn't pop up until they got west of the santa anas.

    Ergo--no mud.

    However, a Winter Drunk Warning has been issued for that area, with a 70% chance of scattered crashes.

    With much discussion amongst locals that live there....they feel that if the road is not washed out the valley will be fine. With that being said and the winds buffing blackstar I say lets do this!!

    A Huge thanks to The Path Bike Shop for supplying the grub and refreshments:bang:, huge huge thank you! The mountains will be blue at Beeks place as well as apples, oranges and cookies:clap:

    I rode this trail with really heavy winds. We didn't actually get killed until Beek's. It was funny when the other riders that were descending stopped and told us to dimount at the top, or we would get blown off our bikes. It was really cool being up there with that much wind. The whole ride up was great...just a couple windy corners.

    Huge thanks to Neil and The Path! I'm super excited. Bikes are decorated, can goods are packed, Hotchkiss has name tags, and hideous Christmas attire is ready to go. Bummed I won't be there at the start, it's gonna be awesome to see the congo line. But I'll eventually see you all at Beeks for the festivities and grub!
