Hey there. My good friend Kyle just opened a new shop in Ranco Santa Margarita in Dove Canyon. He is located right next to Gold's Gym by the entrance to Dove. He could be a good stop for anyone needing anything while on the 50 Mile Ride. He just opened the doors so inventory is a bit low right now but building each day. Great to have a shop at the entrance to so many trails to the Cleveland Forest. The shop is called Ride 5689 and he is calling it a bike boutique. No complete bikes for sale; focus is service and everything you need to keep your bike on the trails and the opportunity to bling it up.

Anyone guess why the name of the shop? Hint, I joked to him that after the earthquake Sunday the 5689 may be higher.

Stopped by today after heading to the gym. Seemed like a cool setup to get needed repairs done in a hurry. Said his focus is to get bikes serviced super quick and will also be stocking lots of different types of tires and brake pads so people can try out some new and different stuff. Good luck on the venture.

A pit stop for bikes headed to Whiting and Luge trails sounds cool.

Mountains grow about 1 inch every year due to plate tectonics....Obviously they don't want to have to rename in 24 years when Santiago peak actually is 5689 ft, so I understand ;)

Either way, this is a great shop, especially if you need quick service in the area...stop by!

BTW, Paul, don't forget about Dave, here works there too :)

I just moved to the area and decided to stop by after seeing this post to have a little bit of work done. David was super helpful and very nice. He ended up getting my bike back to me same day.

I will definitely be going back.
