Thanks...I have the bike picked out after running it by a few friends (I have absolutely no knowledge about mountain bike components) and I just need to order it. I can't wait to get it...I love to climb and I'm growing tired of driving out to Glendora Mountain Road and Baldy Rd every weekend. We actually took the road bikes up Maple Springs to Main Divide then on to Santiago Peak on Sunday. While most of the dirt road was more than doable on road bikes, I'd like to actually have fun and not worry about flatting on my skinny tires...hence the need, yes, I said NEED...lol...for a mountain bike.
I'm getting the Cannondale F4. Trying to decide between white or black...I could stick with my current trend of white bikes (Cervelo R3 and Cannondale CAAD9) that I don't ever clean :-k or go black to hide the dirt. :lol: Anyway...I needed something entry level because I'm a current statistic of the economic downturn aka I've been laid off. On the upside, I suddenly have more time to ride. 8-[
