Those other two spacers are occasionally used with a 12 mm axle. Yes, Intense's service information is seriously lacking. They have to know that it's lacking, but yet they don't do anything about it.

A while back, I offered to create all the service documentation needed (after all, I was a technical writer and creating technical service information was my job), but they declined. #-o So now I can't help but laugh when I see so many basic technical questions asked on mtbr that should have been in the owner's/service information. Intense apparently doesn't care about this being a problem.

Yet, you still choose to ride their bikes, Must be really nice bikes ;)

Anyhow - David looks like it's coming along nicely - I can't wait to see it built and you actually out riding it :bang::bang: - instead of 6 -8 pages of building it

I love mine it's taken me to a new level !!! and i'm not being biased :)

If you are using the old Saint Bolt on RD please note that you will have to cut a 3/8" (10mm) slot in one of the "top hat" bushings, this is so the "anchor" on the Saint RD has a place to fit into. OR call Intense they make the said bushing, but don't ship with frames.

Um Mongoose comes to mind. But hey, Im biased. On another note I dont have a lot of time on the new bike. I am running 165 cranks with a 38 up front and a Dh or maybe road cassette in the rear. I really like how the low center of gravity and the short cranks feel on the Knar. I think for Fontucky it might be overkill, but who cares, its a fun bike to ride. So cool how every bike has its own shining points and down falls. I really enjoy the fact we have so many choices. Of all the bikes I have tried the Free-drive just feels better than anything I have rode. The M6 and Sunday cup are sick as well, but not the same as the freedrive floating BB. This is what I love about the free drive. Did I just Hi-jack a SS thread?

I need the same adaptor for the boxxer. I was told the avid codes will bolt right on. They don't so I put a spacer (some old nuts I found laying around) to make them fit.

For the rear axel I'm using the skewer that came with my azonic outlaw along with the spacers that come with the frame. My freind has the same rims on his slopestyle with the skewer on the rear. He's had it that way for the last year and no problems. I'd like to go through axel myself let me know what you come up with on the breaks and rear axel.

I'm using Intense DH Exdc Lite Tire 2.5. They are on sale @ jensonusa.com 18.99 I'm using Stan's tubless system also.

The Boxxer needs the Boxxer adapter plain and simple. I dont think there is a single company that makes brakes that dont require a special adapter for Boxxer brakes.

Intense tires are pretty good but HEAVY as hell and a major bitch to get on and off.

I still have the ring if you want it and you didnt use the link i sent you for the RD?

just run the 8" rotor. iirc, you may not even be able to get a 7" adapter for the boxxer with certain brakes. I'm pretty sure shimano makes one for the new saints, and possibly formula.

the formula ones should work with avid though. you just may have to add an extra washer to space out the CPS hardware a bit. the back brake on my mob is a formula rotor/adapter and a juicy 5.

it took the backseat to a couple other things lately (namely, putting the other ss on a diet) and not wanting to buy a truing stand yet so they're not ready to roll safely quite yet. I want to do them again myself but i have half a brain to drop my wheels off at the path and pay them to do so.

The only thing I haven't figured out yet is what chain guide i want and where to get one

check out tani with the chain guide... I bought his SS frame and it had e13 on there which I never bought... he might sell it to you at a really good price...
