    Hopefully they don't take away too many rocks / sanitize it too much. I used to like the challenge of the Mabury ranch entrance at Oaks, but now a grandmother can do it on her rascal thanks to the "improvements"...

    Belfree did a great job at Oaks. I'm not a big fan of changing things, I prefer things be left alone and as natural as possible. But let's not kid ourselves too much--all trails are man-made... And the trails at Oaks allow us to pack in a ton of variety with minimal mileage--you can combine a number of different climbs with a number of different descents.

    They weren't taking away rocks, there was a pile of rocks near the entrance of Lizards on Bommer and he was taking them onto Lizards...

    The reason Hans uses rocks is that when he uses his excavator to built trail it is wide. Then he place large rocks around the trail edge to force bikes into the middle of the trail so that in time it will return to singletrack.
