LCWP/Crystal Cove Status

    Planning a ride for this evening. Are the parks open? We got some rain in Irvine overnight, so I'm not sure if the trails are wet. If anybody knows, the info will be appreciated...

    Check the OC park and/or state website... generally all are closed 48 hours after rain however unless there is more rain this afternoon/evening, rainfall may not be as heavy to close the parks. Problem with LCWP and El Moro - you have to check both websites...

    You really have to go to each park's page and read the fine print:

    "May" is the key word. I would call 1st before heading out.

    Just called LCWP. Trails are open. It appears that Quail trail and Boomer canyon in Irvine are also open.

    Most rains this season wont close any park. The dust will soak it right up. If im not mistaken parks have only closed once this winter for a whole day
