STR has been a wealth of information for me when it comes to Mountain Biking. The site is a daily ritual when I get home. I recently purchased a Felt road bike and I'm looking for a site like STR but geared towards road cycling. A site full of local SoCal riders that I can learn from. I know STR has a forum for roadies but I'm looking for a dedicated site. I've used my "Googling" skills but really haven't seen anything that is like STR.

    Any tips?

They have a so cal forum. I'm not a roadie so I can't tell you if there is much action there, but it's a start.

Edit: looks like Shud beat me to it.

SoCalCycling.com has a forum, but it is rarely used. The SoCal one on Bike Forums, as already mentioned, is much more active.

STR spoils me. Everytime I go on bikeforums or MTBR I almost always send up facepalming myself.

MNy roadie forums but none like STR. The roadie section of STR is often better than most dedicated roadie forums. Then again STR is the best forum on the Internet. Fire, the wheel, the printing press and STR.

socalbikeforumsdotcom.......it was started by a few roadies from bikeforumsdotnet.

Most riders know one another so not much trolling. But not real high traffic.
