Hurkey Creek Saturday 8/1 or Sunday 8/2

    Went riding last Saturday with a great group of guys . We all expressed an interest in Hurkey Creek . So Who wants to go and which day ? Saturday 8/1 or Sunday 8/2 ? I can go either day .

    I'm really interested. Never ridden Hurkey and I have a hall pass for the weekend b/c the wife is out of town. I am doing the STR OC to SD century on sat and as long as I'm not tore up I would like to make it out Sunday. My vote is for Sunday!

    I can only ride Sat morning. My wife has a horse show sunday and my kids are too heavy to tow around in a trailer up there

    Ok this is what I'm going to do . Commit to going Saturday morning 6:00 am . Hurkey Creek campground .

    There also appears to be interest for Sunday . So those of you wanting to do this PM each other and make it happen . :)

    Fog really this time of year ? I get up a 4:00 am to go to work so this is normal to me.



    Wow didn't even think about rattlesnakes ! Maybe I'll be early enough before it gets warm enough for them to be out .

    Hurkey is usually above the fog. Should be clear and cool at 6am.
