Doing some window shopping and riding for a huckable All Mt frame that can do in the saddle climbs in and 30+ mile rides.
Currently on my list of frames
    MKIII
    Chumba XCL
    Turner 5 spot
    Reign
    Other bikes ???
Feedback wanted trying to not spend a ton of money and hopefully come out almost even after selling off my 29er

I thought people didn't think the MKIII was strong enough for serious hucking. Or is that just if you are over 2 Bills?:-k

    I am thinking Heckler.

    PIVOT Mach 5

    Check out pivotcycles.com
I have a Mach 4 but strongly considered the Mach 5. DW link, threadless press-in bottom bracket, integrated headset, bolt'on from derailler and many other cool features. Pivot Cycles is owned by Chris Cocalis who was the founder of Titus.:)

    Intense - SLOPE STYLE, Tracer VP , Uzzi , 6.6 , 5.5 Hmmm
    All under 35 lbs.

The new Uzzi is light. I will bring one around for you to check out.
Mine is 36 lbs 1 lb heavier than the new one.

The SS is a great huck bike that can be pedaled.

    Dirtbag!!!!!!!

Dont let others tell you it doesnt pedal well, they pedal great, six or seven in travel, tough as hell. If I can pedal mine on a 25 plus mile xc ride, anyone can

If you are considering doing any hucking you should also look at the RFX, and I don't mean anything negative towards the 5 Spot. I ride my RFX everywhere, literally, including a 61 mile ride this spring and countless all day suffer-fests. With either frame you can't go wrong, I just feel that if you will be hucking it, the RFX is calling your name.

I have a 7 point to cover my bigger end, just need to replace my 29er with something I can have some fun on with feeling like Im going OTB
I know that none of the 5.5 bikes are designed for dropping huge drops or jumping 20 ft to a rough landing

The BB on the Kona that you are looking at is 3 inches higher than the axle.
That is a little high for my personal taste.
When you set the sag you can get it down a lot .
I bet when he sits on it its in the ball park.

Pedaling is not an issue with that much bb height you can peddle trough a field of bowling balls.
But you can't rail turns all the well. J/K

The Kona can be adjusted down to turn better though.
Not every model has a sky scraper BB.

I liked my Giant AC frame, adjustable from 5.6 to 6.5 inches of travel... I was hucking 25 foot stepdowns on it and that thing held up fine, and i also raced cross country on it, as well as the fontana downhills. You can have mine pretty cheap if you want to do a budget build? Its currently getting sandblasted so i can get it powdercoated.

There are a lot of all mountain bikes that Huck well.
KHS has a couple of cool bikes. Bionicon, Transition, Giant, Santa Cruze,
It really has to do with your budget.
The Lucky 7 by KHS is nice ride for the money.
Mike has one at Anaheim Hills bikes if you want to check one out.
I rode it around If was fun in the parking lot.

People are hucking the 6.6 all the time. Its not marketed for that. But it holds up nice. Just as long as you are not 300+ LBS AND RUNNING YOUR SHOCK LOCKED OUT. Ha Ha

I will be riding the new uzzi for sure. I love it.
I still love my old Uzzi to I guess I will have to sell it though.
If anyone is interested in my Uzzi let me know in a couple of months I will probably selling it.
Frame only maybe cranks also too.
