    Hey Forum
    New to MTB, looking to see whats out there and have some fun.im a Fan oh dh but need to learn the ropes. take it easy as i progress hope to see you guys riding and meet up, maybe get some pointers on where to go and what to get(bike). trying to loose some weight and see great views

    Alright Art welcome. You need a bike. Its a necessity to life and without it , you wont be happy. Have fun.

    I have a bike... A quest elevation, given to me by a friend. I hope to go to some local meets and really get into this.

    Welcome.....your bike will be fine for light trail riding and for getting in shape on the paved paths or on the road...but like you already mentioned..if you end up falling in love with this crazy sport you'll need a serious upgrade from your current bike.

    I went to some trails in San Dimas on sun but my peddle came of the crank arm :( gonna fix it this wk and go back wish me luck

    Welcome. If you're just starting out, bonelli Park in San Dimas and Chino Hills state park are great. And then there's fully loop. If you want something a little more there's Marshall Canyon in la Verne and turnbull Canyon
