For anyone here or anyone you know who might be interested in some hard work outdoors.......there is a current opening for a Field Operations Manager at the IRC.

A key position to help implement numerous projects..(trails, bridges, gates, signs, kiosks, road alignments, etc...) within the 40,000 acres.

Looking for a person with a solid foundation in construction (both physical hands-on and management). Preferably experience with heavy timber construction, concrete, and surveying. Also proven management and leadership skills to supervise contractors, consultants, staff, and volunteers.

Heavy equipment operation experience a plus.

Shoot! This is the first time I wish my resume included the ability to operate big, yellow tractors....

 

What kind of work are you looking to get?

 

If you can sell stuff, try the cell phone companies. They are always hiring sales staff since the turnover is so great.

be aware that the franchised dealers are usually creeps.

 

If you know AutoCAD and have experience working with, or are a Civil Engineer, we have an opening right now.
It is in Huntington Beach, and they have interviewed two people so far.

I didn't know they were looking, so act fast.

FYI, and Denmother feel free to correct me if anything has changed, it can take 6+ months to actually get through the hiring process if you apply for a job with MWD. Just wanted to throw that out there and inform people that need jobs NOW.

Not exactly sure what jobs we are offering right now, but my company, Cox Communications in RSM, has a banner out on the front lawn saying we are searching people to join our team. Not sure if we are hiring new installers, new sales force, etc. - but it might be worth taking a look. We are launching our wireless product soon, so sales potential could be high!

I have been here over 13 years so can usually put in a good word regardless of the department you are attempting to get into.

 

BP is opening more possitions. Some requier a degree. I know that they are loooking for a constuction super, and lead.

Must apply at BP.com, or BPrefineryjobs.com. They are two differant site. One is for eth refinery and one is for pipeline & logistics.

 

UPS is hiring driver helpers. You basically shag boxes for the driver. It's a temporary job but if you're looking for some extra cash and have the time. You can also get re-hired permanent part time after the first of the year. Part time employees receive full benefits. Great job for college students or someone looking for benefits.
