They use this at a lot of races and demo day type events. Has anyone made one? I remember seeing some made out of steal piping.

That would be so easy to make out of steel piping, the only things I would be concerned with are the peice where the legs go, (not sure if anyone makes those types of fittings) the weight, and storage of the beast.

There's a guy that sells this but it looks kindda tacky... The kit comes w/ only the legs and the end piece. The long middle piece youre suppose to buy at your local home depot.

So does anyone have any idea how to make end pieces (that doesn't look tacky like this one...). :?:

I say print that photo and go to moms and pops muffler shop and have them fabricate one for you... it wont cost much...

or ask one from STR that built a custom bike rack.... that was pretty neat!

Thanks Jay! I think those just might work! Do you know anywhere loacally that would sell something like those? Home Depot? Hillco or Mcfadden Dale?

EDIT: I just looked at those fittings again and it looks like they are 90 degrees.. that might be too wide of an angle for the base....
