Now the thousand dollar question: Do we need to contact you regarding replacements, or do you already have our information? I was one of those who bought lights/the first battery upgrades at one of the Dino demos.

And kudos for going the extra mile about this.

To clarify: Just a new battery pack, but not a new charger?

Just a new battery pack, the battery pack actually contains the same technology found in higher end smart chargers. Full charging termination after 5 hours on the charger and it has a temperature sensor that prevents charging when temps are too extreme for safe charging, it's a smart battery pack.

The notices are coming via snail mail since broadcast emails tend to be blocked by spam filters. I am sure you are on the list, we used our orders database and records from STR demo and race events that we attended.

    It's Party Time!

    1) How much lighter is the new battery than the old one?

    2) Any (side by side) comparison pics?

    3) When will we see you?
(you promised us a daytime ride "next time you visit...") :)

Designed and built in the USA (very nice)

The GeoManGear battery pack weighs 258grams with strap included, the existing Magicshine Series II is 328 grams, so our battery pack is 70 grams lighter. Here's a pic of the 2 batteries side by side. I'll be heading out to race at 12 Hours of Temecula in June and have another couple of Socal trips planned over the summer, we'll definitely do some Socal riding this summer.

    One more question... 8-[

The new battery looks to be much smaller...
Is it small enough to CLEANLY attach to a (70mm) stem?
    If so, got any pics?

And as Ricky said, it means a lot knowing you are HERE for us! :)

Now that daylight savings is here and the weather is nice, I plan on using my MagicShine several times a week. Thanks for getting this done.

So just to clarify, since I bought a set of lights from your website, I will be receiving the snail mail notice? Also are the replacement batteries free or is there a discounted price?
