The wikiquote page is even more fun --

"95 percent of all software developers believe they are in the top 5 percent, when it comes to knowledge and skills." C++ is a horrible language. It's made more horrible by the fact that a lot of substandard programmers use it, to the point where it's much much easier to generate total and utter crap with it.
I think Leopard is a much better system [than Windows Vista] ... but OS X in some ways is actually worse than Windows to program for. Their file system is complete and utter crap, which is scary.

I am tired of Apple offering updates (pop ups) to quicktime bundled with itunes. I don't want itunes. I'm ready to dump quicktime. So I'll miss a few videos.

But they're re-perfecting their already perfect Apple science and hence why the once a week (so it seems) 60-70 mb iTunes bundled updates. ;)

Simple fix, remove Apple Updater from your startup and it will stop notifying you of updates. That's what I do and I manually check for updates, as needed or I see fit.

There are 10 types of people in the world. Those who can understand binary, and those who cannot.

I was doing some cleaning and dug these out of my Rc storage boxes. Im sure there are a lot of Rc Fanatics on here. They were my old race cars from a few years back. This is pretty much how I geek out:lol:.

    32 Cores baby!!

On May 12, 2008, HP introduced a new member of the ProLiant family: The ProLiant DL785 G5 is an 8-socket x86 server built on Quad-Core AMD® Opteron™ technology. It's ideal for the consolidation of older IT assets or the virtualization of applications and server resources while providing more headroom for customers who want to scale up technology to save expensive floor space. hey str geeks i've got a question for you

I will be traveling to the Dominican Republic in August and want to bring my canon 40d and my Flip video camera. I would rather not bring my mac book. My question is this, is there a device that I can plug in my usb cable from my camera or my flip cam that will automatically download the content to the storage device with no computer involvement? I don't really have a problem with buying more cf cards for the 40d, but the flip video camera is limited to 60 minutes of video. I probably wont go above that but just in case.

I have a feeling that i need some sort of gui to do this. Maybe i'll get an eeepc or something like that

    thanks guys
