Some of you may know Gary Hilliard. He is a long distance runner and active with trail maintenance. He organizes a 50 mile run in the Angeles every year. I discovered today, via an email from Howard Okamoto of the ANF, that Gary was involved in a bad motorcycle accident this past weekend and is in intensive care at the moment. According to his blog, which is being maintained by friends and his wife, that he is doing well but is still in a coma like state, has damaged vertebrae but no spinal cord damage thankfully, and had a kidney removed.
