Tommy, Tommy, Tommy..... WTH! The bright side to this is that you can work on your core so you can crush up hills with that 56-16 gear you're running. Heal up soon so we can have that SS newbee ride you wanted to have (I'll be back in town by the time you can ride... THANKS!)! Take care.

Seriously, the point I was trying to make is that the Fullerton Loop being a death trap to MOUNTAIN BIKERS is a bit harsh. From Shudders initial comment he was referring to that(mountain biking) as well, hence the video of the Bolivian death road, please correct me if I am wrong,. Whether or not other people are being found deceased for other reasons was not even close to the meaning of my initial comment which should be obvious.

Were you just goofing around in the parking lot? or on the trail right next to the lot? Pretty tame place to go OTB....was it just a freak accident?

Really? We're not supposed to go down there? Wasn't that drain recently excavated/uncovered? I remember when we didn't have that drain. I almost did the same thing as you the first time I noticed it.

This is why Steven Jackson is such a bad-ass. Ruling the Loop takes skillz.

I never posted my accident here but I broke my wrist in April while riding the Fully Loop. I agree with Dean. Nothing sucks more than doing damage like that on a trail that ain't worth it.

The more i thought about it and I have come to the conclusion that I have crashed more and hurt myself more at the Fullerton Loop than anywhere else. Sprained wrist, numerous cuts and scrapes, ran into a tree branch that almost knocked me out...so yeah...bad fully loop.

Still going to go back though. Maybe I hit that tree branch a little harder than I thought....

I dont understand how people can say the loop isnt worth it. Its 12 miles of riding in an hour and if you know where to look there are a lot of hidden gems around to up the adrenaline.

Health insurance mumbo jumbo, wearing a hot, itchy cast for a month, physical therapy for 2 months and being told you're not allowed to ride your bike for 3 months. Yup. The Fully Loop is fun, but it ain't THAT fun.

Tis true. However, you have seen the links, so BE WARNED! :) The comparison to the Bermuda Triangle seems apt.

Rest up. Heal up. Take care so that you might once again feed the beast that is the Fully Loop.
