Can you guys take a look..on the front derailleur, does the shift cable just pull straight down or am I supposed to wrap it back up to the bolt?

I see the groove on the front deraileur, but don't see a place to wrap it around the anchor bolt.

It would seem that just tightening it, with the cable just going straight down, wouldn't provide enough grip?

That doesnt look right. I think the cable needs to come from above, or below the derailleur. Can't tell for sure without seeing it though.

Sorry, I should've prefaced that these photos are upside down..so that top (or shall I say bottom) is actually going down..

You just need it secured. Doesnt have to be wrapped. Use just enough torque.

It is routed incorrectly. The cable should go under the screw head and over the "L" tab. Normally the L tab is on the left so that when you tighten the cable stays under the tab and the slack goes right

hmmm. looking again it looks correct and bass akwards. The L tab is part of the gurfunkulator and if the gurfunkulator says route right, then do it

Here is the "correct" view of it..do I need to wrap it into the "C" clamp thing..so the wire is pointing toward the rear tire?
