Heh...I'm under strict orders from the wife not to do anything crazy. Fire roads for me from now on. My wife might as well have sneaked in while I was under general anesthesia and lopped off my cojones.

Just looking through old injury threads and bumped into my old one. 4 1/2 years later, the wrist is about 95% to where it was before the accident. Range of motion is probably 95% of my left wrist, and I can curl/bench close to what I was doing before the accident. I can pop my wrist like a knuckle, and the wrist definitely makes itself felt in cold weather. I haven't had the hardware taken out, but I might do so in a few more years.

Glad to hear you healed up so well. Not many things more frustrating than an nagging injury.

You've come a long way since then.
Next time if you want more titanium bling, get it in a form of a bike frame.
Much less painful (maybe not for your wallet) and more useful.

Now that is funny. My wife said she s taking my bikes the next me I get hurt. I have hardware on my collar bone and really do not want any more. All inures suck but it sure takes longer to heal past 60 so get them out of the way now. Heal up fast and sneak in few single tracks off the fire roads, I won't tell.

Thanks auger. This happened in 2009...I shouldn't have resurrected the thread, but I thought it was cool to see how wrecked my wrist was, and how far it's come. This, plus I saw the thread on mtbr where some guy severely broke his wrist, and it was like his hand was detached from his arm. Gross.
