Dirt Jumps Finally feeling comfortable enough to tackle some Jumps

There is a much bigger gap further up that looks impossible, at least to me!

That gap is the one that I am clearing in my vid. The gap I was talking about is farther up the little valley there off to the left as your going up. Its a SERIOUS GAP. probably 30' or so.

By the way, nice video Longboarderj, those are the exact same jumps we were doing.

 

You know which one I am taking about! I think Eric Carter might have built that. I saw a video once of him doing a big gap out at vail but it has been removed from youtube. I would love to see one of the Big Dogs do that!

 

Is that where the dh course was that ec built a few years back?

 

I didnt catch that you were clearing the bridge gap becuase of the angle of the vid... Didnt even recognize the hip. Good Stuff man. I would love to try the bridge gap but it scares me...lol There use to be a real nice step up just slightly north of the jump line that was real fun.

There is also a 15-20 foot gapped double towards the last just set... most people stay left hit the small jump and then the berm.

 

So I went out this morning and hit this several more times. I felt a little smoother and more confident. It may be time to move to the next one!

Its out in that general area but its a couple of valleys to the east. Not far, maybe a couple miles or so to get to the top where the DH course starts. I have ridden that DH line and there are some pretty steep rocky areas but its fun.

 

This is the gap I think I want to try next. I need to be able to clear that last table top though, just before it.

 

I would be willing to show any of you guys around if your not familiar with Vail. I ride 1-2 times a week there as its only 10 minutes from my house.
