Figured out what's been causing the crashes

It's been the gopro all along. Haven't used it since the last spill (bout 8 months ago) and wouldn't you know it, the next time I dust it off I'm in the dirt. Go figure.

 

improper posing for the camera? hope the latest spill was not bad

 

At least you have some crashes on video ?

 

Also happens when people stop to watch ya clean a tuff section.

 

i think its just the "pressure" put on when you know there are/will-be people watching

My friend got a GoPro and he started pushing really hard, riding to the edge of his abilities and beyond on virtually every ride. I started calling it his cape because he thought he was Superman when he rode with it.

It is, when I was driving us back home he checked the gopro to make sure and laughed like a little school girl when he saw it lol

 

Don't really think I was pushing myself any harder than normal. Was coming down Hawk at Oaks for the 1st time and stalled out on a tight, loose right hander. Nothing bad but still, wtf? Stupid gopro... Super fun trail btw! Was gonna edit it but my graphics card died. Should have it fixed tonight. I'm thinkin I should use it more often so I can get enough footage for a crash reel.

 

When it's not loose that's my favorite section!!

 

My best crashes were taken while GoProing! I wouldn't accept it any other way!

 

Best reason to have one imo. Capturing a sweet line is nice and all but crashes are WAY more entertaining.

ridinrox, I'll have to check it out when there isn't a couple inches of powder in the turns. And with not so smooth tires.
