I need some confidence-inspiring elbow pads first

I'll probably wear my evo's for DJing and pick up some hard shells for DH.

I think it depends on the course. some of them have reroutes for the beginners, others, not so much.

matt, don't worry so much about clogging up the course. there's only so many people that go up with each shuttle, so pick out the faster guys and let them go first, or let them know you're not going to be going fast. just be nice about it and nobody will care.

That is the plan but it depends on the XC race. If it starts late that will push back the shuttle.

And what is this i know nothing about DHing nonsense?:?: You could have fooled me a few weeks ago.

It depends on the course. There are more then one. I wouldnt say that any of them are long.

It depends on the course. They have more then one. I dont know exact numbers but I would guess maybe 400 feet.
