Here are a few photos from the race this weekend so you guys can see what type of racing I normally shoot. Enjoy!

They got banged up pretty good but they were able to get the truck fixed and raced the next day.

"I chose not to drive in even though the road stays open as to not be “that guy” riding against race traffic. It amazed me how fast people were driving the opposite direction knowing that a bike race is going on. I tried to warn everyone who drove past me but some people were oblivious, and saw a few close calls. Hopefully next year they can get the road shut down."

     :welcome:

    Thanks

You guys are sooooo lucky and truly blessed to ride this land! Keep up the good work, vibes, karma and brotherly/sisterly love fo sho.

Rode two years ago on training rides with Gene and Xhusker (think I took some pic's of ya in the snow at the top), along with other warriers and peeps. Then did the ride with my buddy.....what an experience!

After reading all the fantastic reviews / descriptions, trials, tribulations, agony, pain, joy and all the rest, I truly miss this race and the people I met more than you will ever know. Indeed, it was an important event in my life.

As you get a bit older in life (at least for me), it's easier to focus in on what inspires you, not to mention the things in life that are essential, like family, friends and challenges in that order; to those that figured it out early in life (and there seem to be many here), good on ya !

We will be back in June to Trabuco Canyon if all goes well as we are moving back from Florida after a almost 2 yr hiatus and riding some pretty kewl spots like Santos FL, featured in the last MB mag last issue btw(yes you can ride in FL) but SoCal riding is awesome and certainly gave me the MTB bug for life !!

    Ride Strong and Long :bang:
