    The Balboa Park race is back and is always a great time for everyone! This will be a fun race for all ability levels to try out some urban mountain biking. The best part of this event is that it serves as a great fundraiser for the Eastlake High School Mountain Bike team. So grab your family and friends and come out and join us for a great time!

    Entry Fee information:
    $40 - All amateur XC classes (Beg, Spt, and Exp)
    $50 - Pro Men and Women 100% PRO PAYOUT
    $5 - All Entry fees increase $5 for day of registration.

    Directions:
    From the 5 South exit Pershing Dr. Stay on Pershing. Make a left in to the San Diego Velodrome parking. Look for the large Racers and Chasers logo at the Pershing rd velodrome entrance.

    There is more parking available by the pool areas.

    Demo Bikes:
    Specialized and Giant bikes from Zumwalts Bicycle Center

    Course Map:
    There will be a course option race day of going down the rocky stair step way or a much easier descent before you get there on the left. It will be marked and will not matter which way you choose, the option is yours.
    Course Direction is Counter-Clockwise

    Beginner U-15 - 2
    Beginners- 3
    Sport- 4
    Expert and Pro's- 5

    Schedule:
    Friday, December 6th:
    Noon Online registration closes

    Saturday, December 7th:
    7:00 to 8:30 On site registration and number pick up
    9:00 am Beginner race start
    10:00 am Sport Start (All Single Speed and Clydesdale classes)11:15 Kids race presented by ESI Grips
    11:30 am Expert and Pro race start presented by O-tus Safe Sounds
    Awards following the conclusion of the race
