Think maybe it has more to do with your location than anything else. Except for the occasional trip up to Hurkey Creek, I don't travel to Hemet.

There's a camp out planned up at Hurkey Creek. Since you live in Hemet and very close to there, you should go up even if just for day to meet up with STR members. If not to ride, it would be good to hang out.

Here's the link to that thread:

Like others have said, it's not that we don't want to ride with you it's that Hemet is pretty far for most of us. From my house it's an hour and a half drive each way.

My post was in regards to what dino said in the sticky original post. It states that you get out what you put in to this site. He states that if you continue to post rides that you are going to take than someone will show up. That is not true. I drove almost 2 hours each way to attend my first STR ride. I just figured that everyone says that the riding here is so good that someone may want to show up and ride.

Keep on keeping on. I looked at your posts and found 3 rides where you didn't get anyone to join you? I've had that happen to me WAY more times. It happens... Don't let it discourage you. You should check out the ride Gene's talking about.

well, here is to being a newbie

I'm in chino hills and willing to meet with anyone who has the patience to deal with a beginner. I know that once I'm more experienced I will help guide new bikers. So here I am. Able and willing to meet! :)

    So my question is this.
AFTER I finally do the Fullerton loop, whats the next step up in terms of trails? Telegraph in CHSP has been done. Next is Fullerton, then what? Someone told me San Juan in Elsinore is good for beginners, but that is not what Ive read up on it. Thanks in advance :)
