Aliso Woods – Weekly Evening Ride

Hey Josh, I can't make it tomorrow but I believe Rodger is planning on it. I'm sure he'll chime in on here and let you know. I'm planning on riding Aliso on Thursday though, same time 6pm.

 

I'm not riding this week because my bike is in the shop until Friday.

 

Did the same ride we did last week and it was pretty fun. I did like that it was a bit warmer out today but its def gettin dark quick. Gonna have to start packing a flashlight...What are you riding tomorrow ocmato? I might join if the surf doesnt pick up by the evening.

i should be there, gonna try and bring a guy from work as well. its been getting dark pretty early so i would say we should plan on leaving right at 6 or even earlier if you guys can make it....

 

Allright I am for sure in and a recruited someone else from the mtbr forum to join us. If you guys can both go a bit earlier (545ish?) it might be good for a few extra minutes of light but if not no worries. Just post if you can make it earlier and I will see you guys out there!

Sounds good...Where is the ranger station? Ridden there 2 times and have left from the milf park.
Trails should be good with the recent rain.

 

Im not gonna be able to make it this week as my bike is in the shop till thursday but Im down to do some riding this weekend. Do you live in the area sc?

 

Aliso and woods is mostlikely closed since it rained yesterday, they generally close for a few days because of the rain, Give them a call before you go!

Another note, if you are caught out there after dark, there is a HEFTY fine. Trail closes at sunset, or something to the effect that if you need lights, you're breaking the rules.

 

I'd like to join you guys if you are still doing these after work rides starting from canyon view (milf) park. I'm a decent rider and have done all of the trails in Aliso Viejo/ wood canyon area. Let me know. Thanks.
