Most SELLERS will "set-up shop" in the SW corner (orange area)....

Buyers normally park in the non-colored areas!
NOTE: You will enter the lot from the right of the picture!

Thank you Dino. Do you happen to know the name of the road on the right that I enter from?

The Ralphs on the street across from the parking lot has coffee kiosk in it with food too.

I'll be doing a road ride out of Bannings. I'll probably come by to buy with a few of the roadies.

Showed up at 0800 to get first dibbs on dirtmistress' 47 ti road bike. Did get a chance to throw a leg over it & sit on it but it was just too big. :(

Liz, were you able to sell it? Nice to meet you finally!

Missed it after an all-too-gruelling bike ride yesterday. Oh well, next time. Hope everyone had a good time and got some deals.

No. Very disappointing that I didn't sell as much as I'd hoped but enough to make it worth the effort.
More so that I got to finally meet some STR folks and put names to faces. Always good to see Dean and Dino and his GF, whatever her name is! ;)
    Anyway,so back to square one!

Did a nice social ride in the morning and made it back to see the swap meet going in full swing. This was by far the largest STR swap meet ever. Heck, it was bigger than many of the more advertised swap meets I've been to.

Sold a few things, which was nice.

But the best part was seeing so many of you who I haven't seen in a long time. Good to see y'all! It was also nice to finally meet a many other people who I've only known by screen name.

Without a doubt, this swap meet was an huge success!

Thank you all for showing up!

This year's swapmeet was financially damaging...

Went to buy a hub, ended up with a set of XT cranks, a entire front wheel (though it did have the exact hub I was looking for, which was nice), three sets of tires and of course a road bike, which I then bought new wheels for as well.

I guess it's cup ramen and toaster shakings for me for a while...

Stopped by around 9a to check the proceedings and was thoroughly stoked by the turnout. Man, this thing is growing by leaps and bounds! I remember the humble beginnings of just a couple years ago--maybe 8 or 10 guys selling stuff to...each other .

Glad to hear of the great deals to be had, money being made, and friends coming together. The tradition continues!

See you at the next one
