I'm planning getting up there early tomorrow morning (around 7am), but what's the ride plan for Sat? Just trying to choose my bike accordingly. EM to southridge back to the 24 hour course? or something different?

    I can't wait!!!!!!

Yeah, I believe that's the consensus. With 40 or so people it'll be almost impossible for us all to stick together so I think folks will probably just head out to Ernie Maxwell around a certain time (9 am is what I think I saw posted earlier) and ride out. Next day was or is supposed to be Mt Thomas or is it Thomas Mt? Anyways that would include the Ramona trail which I've wanted to ride again for ages. Some others were talking about throwing in some night rides. I'm not big about that but I'm bringing my lights just in case I decide to go for a loop on the 24 hour course.

    Pack some extra layers!

Darin, Are you related to Yogi Berra?

Dean, at my 13, is that a 1-mile HAB? Looks awfully steep, Step!

    That's a great route! What's the roll-out time? is it still 9am?

Just making sure so that I'm not late getting out there!

The last two years my group did not get rolling until about 10am. Others get a earlier start, not me I have all day to ride and am in no hurry. Glad you are coming Ken, I am in site #105. I will be heading up the hill at 10am.

    Dean

I walk it, others can ride it. It is paved section on the dirt road so the cars can get enough traction to get up it. The road goes to the Tahquitz Peak Trailhead and is a access point to the PCT. Great place for those not riding and looking for a sweet hike.

    Gonna miss it.

I am out for this trip. Up late going over last minute bike prep and what do I find?

A crack in my rear triangle on my Tracer. I'm so pissed off to miss the weekend of riding. I was hoping to swing by Intense and Temecula and get a quick fix, no such luck they are closed on fridays now. WTF!

There's always nexy year I guess, Have fun everyone.
    FYI - Liz(dirtmistress) has my spot #129

Todd, what size bike do you ride? I'm sure someone would be willing to give you one of their spare f/s bikes to ride for the weekend. Throw it up and you just might be pleasantly surprised.

Sorry to hear about your crack problem.

Word from the campground is that it's f-f-f-f-f-freeeeeezing cold, which made enjoying beverages around the campfire last night nearly impossible. So if you're brave enough to head up, you'd better prepare well.

Thanks to the heads up from KeepsWhatHappens, I decided not to go up with the 6- and 9-year-olds today. I think they'll have a lot more fun if we wait a month or two.

    Have fun happy campers!

You were very lucky!! This past Friday was their 1st Friday back on a *normal* work week. I reminded Neil to let the powers that be to change the voicemail ;)

Glad things worked out for you :)
