    Great interview, lotsa insight. Such as, the way a linear curve will eat square edges but just collapse on berms and jumps. Wind tunnel results vs frame feel in frame design. Adopting the Fox 40 Float vs. coil vs. market reaction vs. telemetry data that supports the air fork. BB height retained compared 26, but BB drop increases with 650b. Many more.

    I like that too :) Ive been happy with Trek though, so I can't see myself switching out of customer satisfaction. Over all, they should both be really good bikes. Marketing aside, the immediate decrease of elapsed time is encouraging. 6 seconds ain't worth 7 grand to me though :)

    Three weeks ago I was at Snow Summit and Trek Suspension R&D was there. They had a bunch of all white bikes. Most had DVO forks on them. I wonder if they will be ditching the 40 Float for something better?
