    What is the feather with the patch attached to it for? Is it that you've done 6 counting coups and 1 vision quest or something like that? I only have one feather (last year's CC)...so far...

    That is a VQ feather. You get the beadwork and the cones and attached metal beads are gold vs silver for the CC.

    The Feather with the beadwork/patch is for VQ......handmade by club members

    The Feather with just the beads are for CC.

    My Feather I got this year means more to me than any of my other "awards." Absolutely fantastic event. Well run, great people, friendliest bunch of competitors I've ever ridden with. db.mx, after watching that fantastic video!!, I'm ready to go again.. albeit with a better nutrition program/plan.
