    Who woulda' thunk... 8-[

Last year you were a BMX racer who rarely rode his mountain bike.
Joined a few group rides... Attended a few OTH races... Fell in love with climbing... The man even completed a Counting Coup!

    Congratulations- You deserve it!

Dan's Pics 051.jpg I rode the 29er XTC 1 and it was a very fast bike indeed but I ended up getting the Al 29er frameset and will build from there. Dan's Pics 050.jpg

I am torn between the Anthem 26r and the 29r. I can't decide....
My weight point is 25# and under, so I know I will have to swap a few parts.
Is a 29r really that much better for XC?

29ers are just faster. I really did not think I would make the switch but when you ride a 29er they are faster, I think they climb better b/c the wheels don't dive into little areas that a 26 would like a rooted climb or something of that nature. Sand and loose stuff is also easier. Demo one and make sure it is set up for you and I'll bet you fall in love.
