My wife was on a ride at irvine park today, there was a rider down getting airlifted, wishing him the best. Maybe it's been discussed before, but I have seen far too many people riding down trails that are pretty challenging and it might be a good idea to warn riders about features coming up-as they do at bike parks "STEEP DROP" or "BLACK DIAMOND", etc....Has there ever been a discussion on making this happen on our local trails?
Regarding improved signage? That would be nice! I really like how the trails in MOAB are marked and the signage was not bad either. We could learn from them. So many people eat it there! Not me though. Haha.
Yes please. Let's save everyone from themselves. Nothing in Irvine is worthy of a warning other than Waterfall and it is signed.
Nothing? Man, you must be such a rad rider! Ugh. Just because you can man handle any trail thrown at you, does not mean the masses will not find Chutes, Hawk, even some sections of Cactus extremely difficult. Your attitude is just what MTBing needs more of, keep the noobs or even intermediates in a fog, make them think everything is easy. Some simple signage could help.
