LOL! Didn't post a ride report because it was mostly personal triumph than anything else. I sent one to Dave (emcil) privately because he asked. If you want to read it to, I can send it to you.

Bison pics are from Catalina October 23-25. 60 miles and 7,000 feet over 3 days.

LOVE the trail critter thread!! Thanks for starting it! Wish I had taken photos of all the critters I've seen. Going to start doing it now.

Since you liked the photo, you should ride it! :)

Your Sycamore Canyon looks fun. Seems like there is a lot of climbing, but the downhill looks worth the trouble.

Snow Summit was great. Didn't post a RR because Chewyeti posted one. I posted there w/ photos though. Going again this Sat. since the lifts are still open. Luke is doing the 40 mile SART group ride so I am going to SS on my own. Posted a thread on it earlier in the week. I think a couple other STR people will be up there too. If you decide to go on Saturday too let me know :)

I think the fork on the demo bike was actually broken from what the shop told me. Even with it set for someone 30lbs less than my weight it jsut wouldnt budge unless there was a big enough hit. My old Reba had alot of 'stiction' and this felt the same but 10times worse.

Luke's bike is done! Picking it up on Friday! Since Snow Summit is going to be open, we're going on Saturday! w00t!

They're upgrades and/or replacements. I've had 4 crashes since July ::blush:: Not really a Christmas present since they were all fairly necessary. A Christmas present would be another bike! lol But since I am the one paying, and I know I don't have the $$, I know I won't be getting my AM bike for a while.

Got my bike back! Took it out to Sycamore Cyn this morning and it rides like a dream! Feels almost like I'm riding a new bike. New stem, brakes, crankset, rear derailleur hanger, and rebuilt front hub. Still waiting for Luke's replacement brakes from SRAM... grr... (his Avid Elixirs are defective). As soon as he gets his bike back from the shop we all need to hook up for a ride :)

Hey saw your post on Nerdgirls PP. My wife and I have rode with her and her man before. It would be a really good first time out for your women to hook up with them. Maybe me and mine could go as well, mine has an extra womens bike. Connect with Nerd and let's see what happens. Peace
