Are you asking about what it says or why the ads are there?

What it says: It says something a little different with each style. You can change styles in the lower left corner with the drop down menu. The "Steven . . ." is just something random I came up with. It could say something else though. Any ideas?

Ads: There were ads before at the bottom befre but they didn't get many clicks at all on average days. So i thought I'd try a plugin that made it appear at random places. As to why there are ads at all . . . to help cover website expenses. Please don't think that it's cause I'm greedy or anything. But consider that the stickers cost about $500 to make, hosting every month costs money, $310 for the new forum+galley software, and you start to understand why. (notice I didn't include the countless hours I've dedicated to it) There have been a few donations from some really thoughtful people, which is really appreciated - but the ads in the threads are cool cause it doesn't cost members anything to click them but it still helps out.

In addition, if the ads ever made more then the expenses were I would definetly put some of that back into the community - such as I did with ocrider by helping him get his new 29er.

I would most certainly keep the website running even if it drained me financially simply because I believe in it. I've met a lot of great people and a lot of awesome rides have taken place on here. I guess you can call it a labor of love? But yeah . . . I'm sorry if the ads offend you or anything (or maybe it was the "Steven "stonewall" Jackson?). If enough people voice their opinion against the ads I'll take them off.

As for the steven text - does anybody want to suggest something different?

Dude, you gotta pay the bills. Keep the ads. I click on them from time to time to support the site. And, that's big of me ;) 'cause I normally ignore ads.

I don't know who Steven Jackson is, but I'm afraid of him already. I don't want him to land a 5' huck on me so I click when he tells me to.

Whats Up with the Evel Knievel guy? I thought he was leaving. Didn't he say that in another thread. Im kinda new here so does he do anything but complain?
Anyways, do what you must with the ad's its better then having pop-ups all over the site, right? The least we can do is click on the adds once in a while, and hey maybe even buy something. I was going to buy that huge wall calander for my wifes classroom, she teaches 3rd grade and i thought it might be fun for the room.
    Thanks for the great site!
