show up on the home page after they have been posted?

Since the "Market Place" is still open (although not taking new ads) I think people aren't looking at the Classified section like it was intended and still only look at the "Market Place"....

    ALSO
Why can't the poster go back and edit the ad? for instance it was brought to my attention that I listed the wrong yr and I can't go back and fix it....

Since the "Classified" section doesn't show up on the Home Page

Transition from one to another is never easy, especially when most do not except the new changes. I don't have your answer as to why it doesn't show on the home page. My guess is that it probably wasn't designed to. Try to contact George through this: Contact Us He'll know more about why.

If you click on to the classifieds, the latest adds show up there in "Recent Adds"

Scott, I believe you can edit your post by clicking on: Picture 2.png on the far right of the header of your add. I went ahead and changed the model year for you to "05"

I like it better twith the thumbnails

People got sick of the spam and wanted to see more Ride Reports, Political Flaming and Garret Garcia updates so the marketplace has been shifted to the periphery. Trouble is it kind of negates Jenson's sponsorship of that forum now that sellers have to foot the bill, but I'm sure something can be worked out.

Curious - when looking at the list, e.g., 'Hardtails' it shows 9 listed, then when you click there are only 5? '29rs' shows 6, click and there are 3 listed? etc....

Disco - regardless of our classified, I still support The Path and Jenson with a larger portion of my disposable income than I should ;)

    I've noticed that too.

It's like there is a Count for total thread submitted, but after deletion the Active # is not updated. And I am with You on the LBS support, The Path is not my first stop just out of loyalty and history but primarily because Tani runs the most kick ass shop anywhere:clap:. The classifieds are cool for bargains and the internet is the last resort but useful for unique tastes and product closeouts:?:.

SHU; Everybody kept whining about the bumps and biz ops, so now the board is kept clear for "discussions". Not perfect maybe but can always be changed with enough creative feedback.:-k

    I saw ads by Ilya...
177 posts, and I think 175 of them were about selling/buying things.

I do miss the banter on the marketplace though.

I just recently posted a Dart 3 Shock on the Classified ad, no action whatsoever. In the past posting on Marketplace always brought result. Classified can be free or $1.00, it is useless if not productive.

I guess free Classified Ads are a perk of having the Doo-Hickey....

I think that most don't want to pay the buck to post an ad......I like the new format(the sub forums)....just wish that the initial post ran across the Home Page once the ad is listed....since you can't respond to the ad it wouldn't keep popping up(which is what bugged a lot of peeps)

I just bought some wheels from Minhster. I do have to remind myself to check it but now I look when I want to buy. Although I miss looking at items on the home page when they wre freshly posted like before. BTW- wheels saved 2 pounds of rotating weight on my wife's bike and even she can notice it:lol: Thanks Minhster!!

How do you pay for the classified? I put 2 items in there but I would like to pay and I didn't see a way to pay for the posting. I don't want to violate any policies or guidelines.

If someone can let me know. Thanks
